Oldies Station (Duolingo Version) - a fan-made Twenty One Pilots parody

I wrote a parody of Oldies Station by Twenty One Pilots based on Duolingo. I have been an avid Duolingo user for many years and while I have greatly enjoyed the app, I have found myself getting way too obsessed with it and letting the numbers of it all get to me. So, a few months ago I almost quit Duolingo but then I decided I needed to just have a healthier relationship with it, in a way. Meanwhile, I’ve spent the last year and a half listening to Oldies Station so much, and every time I hear the line “Start a streak you’re bound to break” a part of me can’t help but think of Duolingo. Then these two things came together and I knew I had to write a parody of Oldies Station about what I was going through with Duolingo. I had a lot of fun writing the song and putting this lyric video together, so I hope you enjoy, despite my awful singing skills…I am a writer not a singer, but that wasn’t going to stop me...
