Wrong COVID-19 site revealed by authorities in Melbourne
It's been revealed the wrong supermarket was declared as a COVID-19 site in Melbourne by Victoria's health department. It follows a coronavirus scare earlier this month when staff at Woolworths Epping were sent home and the supermarket was deep-cleaned after being incorrectly identified. But today, officials said the supermarket visited by an infected man was actually the Woolworths in Epping North. The alert follows coronavirus fragments being detected in wastewater in the Epping and Wollert area.
