An effect of route diversion, childhood revisited once again.... It has been almost two years since most of the North Bengal bound trains are getting electric locomotives from Kolkata until now, when the trains are back again with the inevitable diesels. All thanks to the diversion due to NI works at NJP, as most of the trains are taking the NJP bypass via SGUJ and also MLDT for not changing the traction from diesel to electric, though it was originally planned, later scrapped. Last night also 15644 KYQ - PURI Express via HWH also brought a diesel link i.e. twin HWH WDM 3D but sadly no one could capture it as it was running very late. Kamrup took the Shamuktala Road - Alipurduar - Siliguri - Baghdogra - Aluabari Road route to bypass New Jalpaiguri with a loco reversal at SGUJ, from where this very WDG 4 was provided for it's journey upto HWH. Loco no - 12169 Thanks for watching.... Subscribe for more....
