At the site, she discovers evidence that Far Zenith member Verbena was killed by Tenakth rebels, who used a weapon capable of disabling Far Zenith’s energy shields. Aloy and Varl venture deeper into the facility and encounter Beta, a clone of Dr. Elisabet Sobeck. Suddenly, a Specter—an advanced machine created by Far Zenith—attacks. Aloy defeats it and escapes with Beta, returning to their base. GAIA reveals that the weapon used to disable the Specter was designed by Sylens, and confirms that three subordinate functions still need to be recovered
