Surah Al-Ikhlas (The Unity) Recited By Sheikh Adil Rayane Surah Ikhlas is the 112th Surah of the Quran and its English meaning is “Fidelity” or “Sincerity”. . Surah Ikhlas is a short Meccan Surah which is also known as Surah Tawhid. It is the 112th Surah in the Quranic order, present in the 30th chapter of the Quran. It has only 4 verses and each of them describes the “Oneness of Allah”. . Surah al-Ikhlas has been depicted as being equivalent to 33% of the Quran. Reciting it has a similar reward as reciting 33% of the Quran. Prophet Muhammad said to the Sahabah, "Gather in my quality, for I will recite to you 33% of the Quran." When they had collected, Prophet Muhammad turned out to them and recited Surah Al-Ikhlas, and after that, he came back to his home. The sahabah started addressing each other about it. Somebody stated, "I think a revelation has quite recently come to Him from the sky. That is the reason he returned inside." Then the Prophet rose up out of his home and stated, "I revealed to you that I would recite 33% of the Qur'an. That is without a doubt 33% of the Quran." .
