14. Kashmir - Led Zeppelin live at San Diego (6/19/1977)

Hey hey folks! After 3 weeks without uploads I'm back for Zeppelin's sake! I've been delaying this upload for about two weeks now, and it was just time for me to do it! And such an amazing upload; San Diego, June 19th, 1977, is a concert that I've listened for the first time a year ago and I've completely forgotten about it! Even though it's great! For the Zeppelin fans this concert is know as 'The Day that Bonzo was down', or something alike (Name it as you want), which defines his performance in this gig; At many points of the show he sounds like he's slow, or even asleep! I like to say this is a very 'relaxed' show, Percy and Jimmy fool around quite a lot during the performances, there's this Bonzo thing, and according to Percy Jonesy has got some back issues, so it looks like they're playing a bit more slow, more relaxed, as I said, ''détendu'' as in French; But here we go: The first act is The Song Remains the Same, which is great, but you can already see that Bonzo is slow and a bit confused; Sick Again has some rocking vocals by Percy, and again, Bonzo sounds slow and kinda drags the band down too! Nobody's Fault but Mine, in the other hand, is very 'explosive', with only a few mistakes by Bonzo; No Quarter is at my top 5 performances, such an amazing Jam!!! Ten Years Gone features one slow Bonzo; In My Time of Dying is very good, features some 'You Shook Me' lines by Percy and Jimmy; Since I've Been Loving You Bonzo sounds asleep, again; The acoustic set is amazing, with a very interesting Battle of Evermore (Interesting Jonesy vocals), a solid White Summer/Black Mountain Side solo by Jimmy (Not acoustic, but you get the point) and a very fun cover of Junior Parker's Mystery Train (Know for Elvis version of the song) Stairway to Heaven here deserves a hole topic, it's solid from the beggining, Plant makes the notes all right, even, instead of the usual ''Does anybody remember laughter'', saying ''Does anybody remember Forests?'' and my favourite ever guitar solo by Jimmy Page! Achilles Last Stand does not let you down, despite of Bonzo, Whole Lotta Love is small, so nothing much there, and finishing with Rock and Roll Always sounded strange to me, but, it's pretty good! Enjoy dear friends! *It's Always interesting to see Jonesy singing *The comments of the songs are not in order, since I've listened to the concert in a very random way hahah
