‘Insanity’: Ex-leader of the Proud Boys charged with ‘seditious conspiracy’ in Jan 6 riots

Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker says ex-leader of the Proud Boys Enrique Tarrio was convicted and charged with “seditious conspiracy”. Mr Tarrio has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for his role in the January 6 riots despite not being present. “This guy got 22 years because the judge enhanced the sentence because Tarrio supposedly was engaged in terrorism,” Mr Hinderaker told Sky News host James Morrow. “So, he’s convicted now of a combination of conspiring to overthrow the government of the United States and being a terrorist for events that took place while he was in Baltimore. “I mean, we are looking here at complete insanity.”
