Metal Roof Over Shingles on a Mobile Home by Myself

In this video we go over how we put a metal roof over shingles on our mobile home. This was completely completed by me from the beginning to the end over the course of about 2.5 months on the few days I have off and after work NOTE I'm not an expert or a roofer, this is just how I did my roof using the manufacturers instructions. NOTE A few people claim that removing the metal under the original shingle ridge cap will cause the house the separate. 1.5 years later we have not noticed any separation from the removal of the racking plate. HOWEVER, do this at your own risk.
