New York Jail Housing Maduro Is Horrible, Dangerous, Says Former Federal Prosecutor

Days after being captured in a Caracas safe house, ousted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro finds himself in a far less hospitable environment: a Brooklyn jail where he likely will be confined to a cell 23 hours a day, conditions that hip hop star Sean "Diddy" Combs and Ghislaine Maxwell had called inhumane. Mitchell Epner, a former federal prosecutor who now practices criminal defense as a partner at Kudman Trachten Aloe Posner, said MDC is ‘a horrible, decrepit and dangerous facility’. Epner has visited the facility many times and said all prisoners at MDC Brooklyn face some risk of violence from other inmates. That risk is higher with someone like Maduro, who could be targeted by a gang or a prisoner wanting to build a reputation “by going after somebody,” said Epner. #venezuela #maduro #donaldtrump #usa #jail ========================================================= Leave your comments, questions, and feedback.
