In October of 1971, Pink Floyd descended upon the ruins of an ancient Roman amphitheater to begin filming what would become their defining concert film. But the crazy part is the movie almost didn’t get made, it faced numerous obstacles filming on location and multiple reels of film were lost. It’s the story of perseverance through adversity and the triumph of the creative spirit.
