This short title sequence is an effort to interpret and communicate some of the elements of this Woody Allen film, and most notably the era it takes place, ie early 1900. The Windsor typeface, trade mark of his title sequences, is used, mainly because it was created that period as well. Moreover in the film Allen plays an amateur inventor, and since it is the same period that "cinema" was born, I decided to give in create title sequence by the card titles that can be found in the first, silent, films. Finally, all the film texture, the scratches, the spots and the off focused lights, can work as metaphor for a magic night, full of pixies in the air, since the film is partly inspired by Shakespeare's Midsummer night sex comedy :)
