Too Firm to Cruise, Too Flat to Fly? Altra FWD Via Honest Review

The Altra FWD Via was a real disappointment for me. The midsole just didn’t work — it felt too firm to enjoy on easy runs, and at the same time, not nearly responsive enough to consider racing in them. On top of that, the drop felt higher than the stated 4mm, and it started to feel intrusive the longer I ran in them. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for.
