One of World’s Most Complex Irrigation project: Polavaram Project

This irrigation project is considered as one of most complex projects, due to soil nature on River bed. The soil is loose and sandy even at depths of 100feet., so the natural course of river flow was diverted through ECRF(Earth cum rock fill) and spillway was constructed after 2kms away.
