Carlos rose to the top of the esports world as one of the early star personalities and players of competitive World of Warcraft and League of Legends. Then he created his own organisation, eventually rebranded to G2 Esports, which became one of the biggest in the entire world and can boast of many trophies and elite placings across a plethora of esports games. In the latter part of 2022, Carlos tweeted a short video of him partying with a very well known and infamous online personality and the resulting fallout saw him "cancelled" out of his CEO position at G2, the organisation denied a VCT spot by Riot Games and him become the personal scapegoat of many in the industry for seemingly every negative feeling they wake up with each morning. Despite this he lives in Dubai, drives his sports cars and is now at work on his new non-esports project 'The Circle' (https://jointhecircle.online/) We discussed how Carlos has dealt with negative reaction to him online and monetised it, the significance of having integrity and a set of core values, his ambitions in life, what family and heritage means to him, his religion path, what is best about Spanish people and the value of networking.
