University of California, Riverside- Animatronic Arduino Uno Dog

My concept of an animatronic dog for the Institute of Navigation at University of California, Riverside. It uses Arduino uno, 8 standard sized servos, connected to a custom wired controller with two potentiometers(which one controls the front legs and the back), two thumb-sticks(one controls the eye movement, and the other controls neck movement), and a guitar pedal push button which opens the mouth. Powered by 2 x 4 AA batteries at 4.8 volts. Energy consumption for the servos are reduced by using counter weights with quarters and pennies. Meccano erector sets, and wood was used to hold the dog structure.
