This magnificent example was the premiere example put forth by Chevrolet in their desperate attempt to take over the sales leadership role from Ford. The AC Series featured many firsts, especially the “stove-bolt 6”. With the Model A powered by a “4”, Chevrolet proudly advertised “Six in the price of a Four”. It worked! This car was owned by a noted collector that ensured all detail was done correctly. The restoration of this car is almost flawless down to fit, finish, colors, materials and operation. Knowing his reputation, I purchased this car. Since the Phaeton had not been run for nearly a decade, upon arrival, there were issues. A complete tune was needed to include rebuild of carburetor and fuel pump. Being very particular myself, I noticed pulling upon braking. The entire braking system (mechanical) was rebuilt. Further work was performed flushing radiator and gas tank and lines. Previous owner was serious collecting a massive library of specific manuals, advertising, Sales Brochures, Parts lists, Compendium of Reproduction and Original Parts, 1929 Chevrolet Service Bulletins, Master Parts Price List, Chevrolet Repair Manual and Chevrolet Motor Cars Owners Manual. Now that all issues have been addressed, this beauty is ready to drive to any show and collect trophies. Price: $32,500 obo For additional information please phone Dave Henry at 805 705-4924. _____________________________________________________________ Spokemotors.com provides a service and is not a dealer.
