Hi friends , Today, I’m going to share a perfect, step by step recipe for soft and tasty Shami kababs in Lucknowi style. Sounds yummy right? These kababs are the best starters and are perfect for Iftar and Suhur during Ramadan. It can be served with coriander or mint chutney and the best thing is, you can freeze them upto 2 weeks and they will still taste same . Ingredients for the perfect, Lucknowi style Shami Kababs: 500gms kheema 100gms Chana dal 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp black pepper corns 1 black cardamom 8-10 green cardamom 6 cloves 2 inches cinnamon stick 3 whole red chillies 2-3 bay leaves 3 tbsps ginger garlic paste 1 onion roughly chopped 1 tsp Red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 lemon Filling in Kababs: 2 medium onion finely diced 3 tbsps chopped Coriander leaves 1 tbsp mint leaves 4 green chillies finely chopped Note: Please note that it would be better if you grind all dry masalas in the mixie jar and then add them to Kheema and Chana dal.
