Still a toss-up between this fight and the Tank Fight in Monstropolis for the worst mob fights in the game to No Damage... I got incredibly lucky to get this on my fifth attempt. -CHARACTER SETUP- Keyblades: Wheel of Fate (+9), Ever After (+9) Accessories: Orichalcum Ring, Orichalcum Ring, Orichalcum Ring Cuisine: Caprese Salad+, Cold Tomato Soup+, Sea Bass Poêlé+, Stuffed Quail+, Tarte Aux Fruits+ (Full Course Bonus: Hearty Meal) Now's the time to get best-in-slot cuisine if you haven't, since you have access to all of the Flans now. Since you need the Orichalcum+ for Ultima a little later anyways, be sure to get Master Treasure Magnet from Frozen Slider, it is supremely useful on this fight since every enemy drops HP or MP orbs here. Reprisal choice doesn't matter too much here, but Counter Slash is definitely better for the Spiked Turtletoads. -FIGHT STRATEGY- If you forgo either All PRO Codes or No Damage, this fight is perfectly fine. Without PRO Codes, there are a lot of extremely strong Formchanges that make the No Damage not too bad. Ignoring No Damage, there aren't many one-shots and those are telegraphed (Turtletoads and Rock Troll, mainly), not to mention the Second Chance and Withstand Combo accessories combined with Master Treasure Magnet make you nigh invincible. With both restrictions together, however, you're at the mercy of the game, and end up with a fight on par with 1K from 2FM for how annoying it is (which is a hilarious connection), but with the added drawback of it being over 8 MINUTES. To start, if you're dying to the Rock Troll or Turtletoads, work on getting their attacks down first. For the Turtletoads, practice the triple Risk Dodge → Teleport Slash on the jump move, and getting Counter Slashes on the tentacle rush. For the Rock Troll, as you can see you don't have to get reprisals on its moves if you don't want to, but you need to be able to avoid them at least. What makes this fight trash to No Damage is not the big enemies, but the little ones. The Flutterings and Air Soldiers, which are the most common enemies in this fight, both have extremely fast rush moves that can catch you out, and the Flutterings have the added meme of a triple projectile attack (that can go through the Rock Troll's body, so if there's a Fluttering behind the Troll, good luck reacting to that). Again, especially with armor, none of these should kill you outright but they obviously insta-kill a No Damage attempt. Your main strategy is to chain Buzzsaws on enemies; since most of them are aerial enemies you're guaranteed to get a Buzzsaw. Luckily, Reapers don't counter Airstep (by going invuln) in this fight so you can get Buzzsaws on them too. The Thundaga combo at the start should stagger one of the Turtletoads, so focus that one first, then just flow between different groups of enemies. They spawn in waves, alternating between Flutterings and Air Soldiers, with Nobodies sometimes as well. The fake Shadows on the ground do count for the enemy counter in the top right, so Thundaga them when you have MP and are sure you're safe to do so. Once you kill enough enemies, which takes... a while, you'll get the prompt for Mountain Coaster. You get it even with All PRO Codes because it's scripted; you can see I have all thirteen PRO Codes enabled in the bottom right corner. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT USE THE FINISH COMMAND ON COASTER TOO EARLY, you can use it when the information bar pops up to let you know. Good luck and godspeed if you try and do this fight this way.
