Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Calm after the storm

Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for July 20, 2023: After a wild Thursday night full of severe weather coverage, things are finally settling down. Lingering rainfall is expected as the cold front pushes eastward. Temperatures will be cooler on the backside of it all too. Highs tomorrow only make it into the mid-70s. That's unseasonably cool by nearly ten degrees. The thing about this front is that our humidity levels will also be much lower. The weekend is setting up to be an absolute beaut. If you don't have plans crafted up yet, I'd start putting pen to paper now. Both days will be near 80 degrees with mostly sunny skies. Sunday will be a touch warmer than Saturday. If you want the full on summer heat back...cause remember we've only had one 90 degree day so far this year (aka we're overdue), look no further than the end of this upcoming week and next weekend. Our high temperatures look to come close to 90 if not in the low-90s. Only time will tell as we get closer...but right now, the Climate Prediction Center has temperatures trending above normal.
