WHO IS THIS GIRL!?// DanDaDan S2 Episode 12 Blind Reaction (DUB)

With how the last episode ended, we are in for some epic fun with a robot vs kaiju battle. As always, (this is the tradition on this channel), we will have a post season discussion to wrap up the whole season alongside the thoughts for this episode specifically, so for the last time of this season, let's jump right on in. Ok, so we already start off with Okarun ejected out of the robot and Evil Eye breaking himself out. Don't worry as Kinta gets a handle on the nano skin and gets the robot into more fighting shape. The robot can regenerate and starts to take on a golden glow. What then proceeds is Kinta's dream come true. You see, he was bullied by others for his love of robots and the model kits he buys (which are based on real Gunpla model kits so I can relate to the passion of that hobby) and maybe that's why he judges others in how he speaks. He is so used to others picking on him for what he likes that he can only see stereotypes in other people. If this is the reason for his behavior, then that's extremely sad and I hope he gets the same (if not better) development as Aira did. Ok, we win the battle, yet the giant robot is still visible to bystanders and so Kinta, Aira and Momo turn it into a UFO and fly back to her land where her house is. Meanwhile, Okarun and Jiji carry the now small kaiju back to the house where we discover the kaiju is actually a suit for an alien girl... WHO ARE YOU!? WHAT IS HAPPENING!? that wakes up and kisses Okarun. Momo witnesses this and makes the house explode (I hope Aira is ok- wow look at me caring for Aira). What a finale to this season and I hope the next one is around the corner soon. That was a diabolical cliffhanger to end a season on and I am hyped for what is next. Season Discussion- Ok, time to talk the season as a whole. I'll try to keep it brief. We dealt with a huge underground worm and those savage creatures who sacrificed humans to working out how to deal with Evil Eye (with a rock band mixed in) and ending with a kaiju-mech battle. That was one wild ride to say the least. I enjoyed this more than S1 even because of the established character dynamics while building on those with some new ones. Okarun got some good development and training, Momo was great as always, Aira had some development on how she viewed her friends (AND finally wrapped up her mess she caused Momo in S1), Jiji became a member of our squad and is friends with us and Evil Eye (he vouched for him so that says a LOT) and we met Kinta for only 3 episodes. Even the fights this season I enjoyed more than the last one and we got the surprise return of Mantis Shrimp and his son who now live on Earth so that's cool.
