The mass destruction seen here was caused by ongoing regime shelling on civilian homes in the city of Muaddamiyyat Ashaam. The aftermath of regime shelling goes far beyond just destroying homes - the constant bombardment has become yet another way for regime forces to deprive hundreds of besieged families from the most essential needs including food, medication and safe passage to the outside world.
