Spider-Man 2 Enter Electro New-Game Hard Mode No Damage Run-"Spidey VS. Electro"!
Hi and welcome to my second run in YouTube! This time-Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro! *** Video uploaded in June 15, released in June 17 *** This video is the 13 part out of 14 parts. It includes the Electro boss fight, the level's name is "Spidey VS. Electro". This level comes before the final level of the game, which's named "The Best Laid Plans" (V. 1 name: "Top of The World"). The next part will be the last part of the run, and will include the Hyper-Electro boss fight! === UPDATES & VIDEO INFO === Updates: Yesterday I've done the third (and last) special, which means that I'm finally done with this run and can go back to the "Spider-Man PC New-Game Hard Mode No Damage Completed Run W/ Commentary" project. Video: This battle took me a while, but wasn't so hard. At first, I though that Electro's electric shield attack hurts you. When I discovered it isn't, by being "hit" by the shield and then trying to take a health spider and discovering that I'm "already in full health". In the end of the fight, you can see that I got hit by the shield when I gave Electro the last punch (pretty cool ending if you ask me). Luckily, Spidey fall right on a health spider and confirmed that he's "already in full health". === HISTORY === After finishing the first game in a new-game on hard mode without taking any damage, I went to the second game. Unlike the first game, which I finished more than 20 times AND finished it with no damage on hard mode before starting to record (the rules where a bit different and I haven't done one level in my un-recorded run, for more info read the description of one of the videos of my previous run), I've finished this game only 5 times. Because of that, I decided not to tell about the run before I reached the final two levels (see the "Previously On Spider-Man" video). By now, I'm actually done with the run, I only need to record and edit few specials and extras. The final level really was a pain in the ass, but I did it :D. The run is divided to 14 parts, and lasts 10 minutes (or so) longer than the run of the previous game. I'll use my premission to upload videos longer than 15 minutes a few times during the run to create a levels video-boss video pattern. === DIFFICULTY === Now, for the difficulty: The game isn't THAT hard. Took me about two weeks or so to finish him in new-game, hard mode, without taking any damage (and of course without changing the suits and the abilities), and I didn't know any strategy when I started the run (even now I still don't know where are the comic books are placed, during the run, I wasn't able to collect a single comic book!). Yet, the game offers much more of a challenge then the first game. === PATH OF A VIDEO === How do I play and record? I play in the PC, using the ePSXe emulator (the best one out there for PSX games, you just need 2 gb ram and you're good to go). I record using Fraps, but Fraps is using to much memory, so I use Format Factory to minimize the size of the file. Then, I put the levels togheter using Windows Movie Maker and export the video, it also makes the size of the file even smaller! === THE RULES === 1. Taking no damage. Damage taken while using the Spidey Armor counts. 2. Filming all cutscenes. 3. No web cartridges farming 4. Playing on hard mode. 5. Using only the basic Spider-Man costume (the spidey armor doesn't effect this rule, only costumes from the Special section effect this rule). 6.
