NJP Shatabdi Express entering Shantiniketan (Bolpur)

12041 UP Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express Powered by a SGUJ WDP-4B 40045 loco makes a grand entry into PF#1 of Shantiniketan (Bolpur) on it's inaugural day. To start with the description I would like to mention that this is the first & only intrastate Shatabdi train connecting two places within the state of West Bengal & the only Shatabdi to be hauled by an EMD. This train has a maximum speed of 120 kmph & it covers the entire 566 km journey within 8 hrs with an average speed of 70 kmph giving just 3 halts (i.e.,Bolpur ,Malda town & Kishanganj) in between.The coaches are of LHB type & are made at Rae Bareli coach factory.
