In this presentation I explore ‘time’ as portrayed in the ancient Puranas (Hindu scriptures) of India. I explore: -What is time? -The macrocosmic and microcosmic time scales of the Puranas -Maha yuga cycles -Similarities and differences between Puranic and -Manvantaras and Kalpas -Lord Brahma’s huge time scale -Relative time on different planets in the Vedic universe, and its connection to consciousness.
