English Bible Versions (The Sacred Name, pt. 3)

We begin to look at the prefaces of several English versions of the Bible, centering in on their reason(s) for not using the Sacred Name. In this lesson we spend most of the time looking at the 1920’s Smith and Goodspeed preface, as well as the NASB and NIV prefaces. We also look at an eye-opening letter written by a person on the committee of the original NIV translation.
