My daughter's Numotion Permobil M300 powerchair has been plagued with an issue of going into Turtle Mode which causes it to slow down to a crawl. This can be a real PITA especially when you need to get the chair out of the way or across the street etc. At first it would just enter Turtle Mode more rarely and we learned that tilting the chair back and then forward would reset it. But lately the chair was entering turtle mode very often. The fastest way to reset it was to KICK the side of the chair. (It pissed me off when it happened a half dozen times when we were getting around a store). I figured it would likely be some sort of "end switch" position sensor and indeed it was. The circuit going to the main control board had no continuity. I didn't even bother to find out if it is the wiring or just the switch. We don't care for the feature of entering turtle mode when the seat reclines so I just bypassed it entirely by placing a jumper across the two pins on the circuit board connection. :-)
