Max Payne 3 Chapter 1: Something Rotten In The Air walkthrough

Chapter 1 kicks off the story with a grim, cinematic tone. Set in São Paulo, Brazil, the game opens with a flashforward showing a battered Max Payne. It then shifts back to the actual beginning, where Max is working as a private security contractor for the wealthy Branco family. In this chapter, Max is tasked with protecting Rodrigo Branco during a high-society party. Things quickly spiral out of control when a gang crashes the event and kidnaps Fabiana Branco, Rodrigo’s wife. Max and his partner, Raul Passos, give chase through a nightclub and into the city, marking the start of the violent, chaotic journey that defines the game.
