UK Weather Forecast: Warm With Sunny Spells For England And Wales (Wednesday 15th September 2021)

Good morning everyone and welcome to today's UK weather forecast on Wednesday 15th September 2021. Today: We begin with a mix of sunny spells and cloud as well as mist and fog patches. There are showers in the east and the north west. Through the day Scotland and Northern Ireland will stay cloudy with more showers while England and Wales sees most of the low cloud, mist and murk burning off to reveal sunny spells. Temperatures range from 14C to 21C (57F to 70F) north to south. Tonight: Most places will be dry though there could eb a few rogue showers in the north. We'll have a mix of clear spells and variable cloud with some mist and fog patches reforming in rural areas. A cool night in the north with temperatures dropping to 5C in the Scottish glens but a mild night in the south with temperatures holding up at 15C Tomorrow There could be a few scattered light showers in the wast with rain heading into western Scotland and Northern Ireland by the end of the day. Otherwise we'll have a dry day with sunny spells once early low cloud, mist and fog has cleared. Temperatures 15C to 22C (59F to 72F) Outlook: Friday: A band of rain pushes across the country followed by sunshine and showers in the west. Warm in the east, cooler in the west. Saturday: Rain could take a while to clear from the south east corner but otherwise a drier day with sunny spells and scattered showers. Heavy into the far west by evening. Sunday: Heavy rain pushes eastwards with heavy showers following.
