Hamas, Islamic Jihad hand over purported Israeli hostage body to Red Cross

The Israel Gaza ceasefire hangs on a thread as Jerusalem’s continues to launch attacks in the Gaza Belt. Hamas & Islamic Jihad militants handed over a recovered body on Dec 3 in Gaza's Beit Lahiya to members of Red Cross to be brought back to Israel. Meanwhile, PM Netanyahu's office later confirmed receiving a body believed to be of a dead hostage held in Gaza through the Red Cross. The handover of the last two hostages' bodies in Gaza would complete a key condition of the initial part of President Trump's plan to end Gaza war. The two hostages are Israeli police officer Ran Gvili and Thai national Sudthisak Rinthalak, both kidnapped during Hamas' Oct 7, 2023.
