Government to recall Sardar Patel on Oct 31, not Indira Gandhi

Modi government plans to commemorate October 31, as National Unity Day, a celebration of Sardar Vallabbhai Patel's birth anniversary. The day was earlier commemorated as former PM Indira Gandhi's death anniversary. Modi's government is doing it's best to recall unsung names and paying respect to them, something which was confined to the Nehru and Gandhi's.
