1993 WGNT Promo (The Joan Rivers Show)

(c)1993 WGNT -- Dreamcatcher Broadcasting Quirky promo for WGNT's airings of the Joan Rivers Show near the end of that series' run; which served as a comeback vehicle of sorts for the comedienne after a rough patch between 1986-87 where she was hired away from the Tonight Show (where she had been a longtime substitute for Johnny Carson) in order to host the Late Show on the then-upstart FOX network (resulting in a bitter falling out with Carson); being subsequently fired by FOX after challenging FOX executives intent on firing husband Edgar Rosenberg as the producer, and three months later enduring the tragedy of Rosenberg committing suicide on August 14, 1987 (which Joan blamed on his being humiliated by FOX).
