I cover the different consistencies of paint, from tea through butter and the different stages where each is used, as well as represent the reasons for increasing or decreasing the pigmentation in certain important areas of the watercolor portrait. I also go into how I use digital devices to improve my understanding of what I’m looking at when choosing colors and hues and saturation when using a photo reference.
