Holodomor: Ongoing Battle to Honor Millions of Victims

This webinar took place on November 22, 2021 with participation of Andrea Chalupa, the author of Mr. Jones movie, Donald Ritter, former Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania's 15th congressional district (1979 - 1993), Oksana Piaseckyj, Chair of Duranty Revocation Subcommittee of U.S Committee for Ukrainian Holodomor Genocide Awareness and Robert A. McConnell, co-founder of the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation and Head for External Communications of the Friends of Ukraine Network. The participants discussed the history of recognizing the Holodomor in the United States and the relevance of factors behind a 50-year international denial of the Holodomor to present time and events happening in the modern world.
