Health - International Nurses Day

International Nurses Day has been celebrated every year on the 12th of May since 1965. It is the anniversary of the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. Nursing is the largest healthcare profession in the world. Nurses play a vital role in providing healthcare services to patients all over the globe and this profession is particularly important during this time as the world battles the Covid-19 pandemic. This morning registered nurse, Craig Albertus joins us to chat about International Nurses Day and gives us some advice on how to protect ourselves from the coronavirus.
