Cheesesteak Sandwich Since my lovely wife has taken up baking, she recently baked a batch of cheesy bread rolls. What goes in a cheesy bread roll? More cheese and meat of course. This is absolutely filthy like all great things. My top tip is to put the steaks in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm them up, then take a sharp knife and slice the steaks as thin as possible. Fry your sliced onions in butter so they caramelise, then fry the steak on a high heat so they have that lovely sear. Mix with cheddar and red Leicester, which merges with the steak juices to make a cheesy sauce. Top with mozerella for that cheese pull and stuff it in a fresh cheesy roll.
