After 31 Failed, 8 Hours and one big shock after hitting 2x ty lee TWICE, I FINALLY GOT IT! Not just PB, not just WR... but 1 minute faster than WR AND SUB 51!!! I am very proud of this run, i have something to tell about this run: My main goal was to get a new WR on 27th of july (because of a osu reference named "727" since on 7/27/24 my old run was getting a year old, you can think of it like a celebration.) That's the day i got not one, but TWO 2x ty lee cycles in a row. (If you don't know, until this day speedrunners of this game aren't sure if it's all just rng or if you can determine to get exact two ty lee fighting sequences with azulas lazer before getting the "i am stronger" cutscene from ty lee. But for now it seems like all is rng and getting a 2x fight with ty lee and azula on the gondola is luxury, but getting it twice... that's very lucky.) The next day i got to play avatar again but didn't even came to the gondola fight since i died on boiling rock. Was calling it a day for speedrunning the game and continued streaming cs2 and straftat with some awesome people :D The last day was the day. 3rd times the charm i thought... And my thought was so damn right. After work, i came home and literally my FIRST TRY was the try i got the new World Record. The Run in Detail: The first two chapters, being "The Awakening" and "The Arms Factory" were pretty good and the Combat RNG was at my side. "Pier Fight" could've been better, but after that... "Day of Black Sun" was something to drain my time imensely, but not so much that i would restart the run. My Boss RNG at "Firelord in Hiding" was very good and i even saved 2 more seconds in comparison to my last run. "Boiling Rock" was the most banger ever it was close on being a sub 8 Boiling Rock, which is pretty hard to pull of in a run (saved around 20seconds there :O) Escape is where the magic happened. As mentioned prior with the ty lee cycles... 2 ty lee cycles before cutscene is almost mandatory for hitting a GREAT run! And since my last run had a 3x ty lee cycle, my time was saved BY 55 SECONDS! That's how much of a difference that can make... Mercenary is also RNG at the end, and my RNG wasn't good on this one, but 16 Seconds time off is not that big of a deal in this run, but my "Western Air temple" was so incredibly confusing to me... The beginning was pretty usual +Pressure from the good ty lee cycle you hit very few times. BUT THE ENDING VERY FAST! So much more faster than i had planned to be... You are fighting against the fireloard (i think idk xD) and for some reason... enemies decided to not spawn... AT ALL!?!?!? I was confused so i self-asked me: "why aren't any enemies spawning!? XD" but i took it in and thought, what will happen'? and so to my very surprise... i saved 44 Seconds... I could'nt believe it... what just happened??? "Rise of pheonix king" was better than my previous and saved another 13 seconds there :) and for the ending... "Into the inferno" i nearly just died there... my run was almost over... because katara was just running into the fire for no reason at all xD But i still managed to get it somehow and finished my run with so much luck on me...
