2006 Volvo XC90 Ocean Race oil filter canister wrench slipping (too tight).

I picked an XC90 a few weeks ago and am attempting to change the oil on it. The last person to put this canister on must have used an impact wrench to do it, because shortly after this video was shot, I ended up breaking the spot welds on this 86mm filter wrench. Yes, I am using a breaker bar for more leverage, that's how tight this thing is. From what I can tell, it was the dealership that did the last oil change (still has the sticker on the window and 10K more miles to the next oil change).
