STAR WARS: Squadrons – Beginning Under Lord Vader (Prologue I Gameplay)

Prologue I: Lord Vader's Command" is the first mission of the campaign in the video game Star Wars: Squadrons. The mission begins with a cutscene where Commodore Rae Sloane orders the player's character, along with the pilots in Helix Squadron, to locate and destroy a Rebel refugee convoy at Fostar Haven. The gameplay tutorial guides the player through flying a TIE fighter, targeting enemy ships, and completing the mission's objectives. Mission objectives Objective 1: Fly and dock Take off in your TIE fighter and follow Captain Javes. Follow the tutorial instructions to learn how to fly and throttle. Fly to the Gozanti Cruiser and dock to prepare for deployment to Fostar Haven. Objective 2: Search Fostar Haven Arrive at Fostar Haven before the main fleet to conduct an initial inspection. Order cargo ships to prepare for inspection, but be met with resistance from the stationmaster. Scan freighters for refugees; one ship will attempt to flee and must be disabled. Objective 3: Destroy Rebel defenses The stationmaster will activate defensive turrets, which you must destroy. X-wings will emerge to defend the station, but they must also be destroyed. Objective 4: Locate the convoy Find the convoy hidden in a tunnel. Terisa and another pilot will enter the station and locate the convoy, but their path will be blocked by ion missiles fired by Lindon. Mission summary The mission starts with you as a new Imperial pilot joining Helix Squadron, preparing to hunt down an Alderaanian refugee convoy at Fostar Haven, which is being led by the ISD Vigilance star destroyer. It serves as a tutorial for the game's flight mechanics and combat controls.
