Game begins with our modern-day Assassin, Desmond Miles, being put into an Animus to stabilize his condition, after the events that took place at the end of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, where Juno made Desmond kill Lucy. Now Desmond has to assemble the pieces of his mind inside the Animus to break free. In Part 17, before delivering the results of his investigation to Prince Suleiman, Ezio continues to eliminate the Templar threat to Constantinople, using his Master Assassins to remove key players from specific Den areas of the city. And we return to Desmond's broken mind, trying to fix itself, by following Desmond on his journey.
