A Dead Soldier is a Wasted Life

A Dead Soldier is a Wasted Life

I don't want to sound all "Westboro Baptist Church", but if anybody's whacked out here it's the people who support our troops, and not me. People who "support the troops" are just as whacked out as those in the Westboro Baptist Church, how ironic. I mean, kick some sense into you: "My son died for freedom by killing another human being", OR "The way to build world peace is for two poor people hired by the rich elites of their respective country to kill each other just so that their poor family can give all their money to those elites". That's fucked up. And if you believe in that bull that you defend a country that's not even yours by killing on behalf of those who actually own the country, then you're fucked up too. Perhaps you should go & get a copy of Dalton Trumbo's "Johnny Got His Gun" and read it. And again, if you're going to try & make yourself feel better by responding, "You have that freedom of speech because my son died for you to say that stuff", then again i say that i'd rather go to prison or be killed for my speech than see another human being killed by a foreign soldier (i.e. your son) who believes in some fabricated idealogy that he's killing for freedom when that human being was simply defending his family.
