Saturday Shopping: Strolling through Ka Makana Ali'i, Kapolei

#Hawaiishopping #kamakanaalii What's in store: Clear handbags at Adore boutique, Hawaiian clothing and accessories at No'eau, tropical housewear at SoHa and kneading slime at My Slime Playroom. It may seem strange to people all over the world, but a lot of Hawaii residents think driving 20 miles is like driving to the end of the world. (Because when you live on an island, it kind of is.) So many in Honolulu rarely drive far west. In fact, some townies have told me they never drive further west than downtown Honolulu! So, in the interest of exploration, I headed to Ka Makana Ali'i so armchair shoppers can take a look without ever leaving the comfort of their small screens or laptops. Video by Nadine Kam © 2020.
