Thai police fire tear gas, rubber bullets in latest clash with protesters

It was the latest episode of social unrest since Thailand’s pro-democracy movement began in July 2020. Demonstrators are also calling for the release of detained activists and constitutional changes. An emergency medical centre said the next day that more than 30 civilians and police were injured.
