Today we begin the beautiful season of Advent, a time of waiting, longing, and expecting the arrival of Jesus — the Light who breaks into our darkness. This morning, Pastor Kason Oakes brings a message from Isaiah 8–9 as we focus on the first theme of Advent: HOPE. We’ll explore why Israel found itself in darkness, how God stepped into that darkness with a promise, and how Jesus — our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace — is still our hope today.
