Southern Pacific freight trains climb the steep grades of Tennessee Pass with Hobos 1995

Tennessee Pass will roar again! The pass has been sold to Colorado Midland and Pacific Railway and the railroad will start rehabilitation soon. I am very happy to hear this news as I only visited the Tennessee pass a few times in the 90's. The mighty Southern Pacific may be gone but it lives forever in videos. Much like the D&RGW, the SP always had filthy locomotives on their trains. In the mountain territory you could always count on locomotives having problems on nearly every train.
