#roxysjournalofstitchery part 2 visitors to the garden: down the garden path slow stitch project

Join me as I work on my slow stitch piece for Roxy’s journal of Stitchery, Down the Garden Path. Our prompt is a visitor to the garden and I’m taking my inspiration from some scraps of Beatrix potter fabric and an English hedgerow. I hope you enjoy the process of adding Appleton wool rosettes with beaded centres to the hedgerow together with texture around the holes in the hedge. Then on to painting with thread and creating a knitted woollen texture with Appleton wool and simple stitches. Hope you are all doing well. Cheers, Christine
