May 11 2018 Overturned Truck Closes On Ramp To TCH Driver Injured

A large truck overturned at the on ramp to the TCH eastbound at Mapleton Road earlier this morning sending the driver to hospital with injuries. Emergency crews shut the on ramp down to traffic while working to upright the truck. Two heavy lift tow trucks were needed for the operation. An official with the provincial Department of Environment was also on scene. No word on the condition of the driver. The cause of the accident is under investigation by RCMP.
