FOLLOWING JESUS — The Secret to Moving in the Fulfillment of the Harvest Sunday, 26th October 2025 – First Service Matthew 4:19 – “Then He said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you...’” We have entered a new season of harvest. The time for the seeds we have sown, the prayers we have lifted, and the faith we have exercised is now upon us. But beyond recognizing this divine moment, we must understand how to walk in it and receive its fullness. When Jesus looked over Jerusalem, “He wept” (Luke 19:41) because they did not discern their time of visitation nor know what to do. It is possible to know a season has come and yet miss its purpose. The true blessing is not in knowing the season, but in aligning ourselves with the Word and instructions of God for that time. No matter how gifted or intelligent we are, there remains a divine pathway to walking in the fulfillment of God’s purpose. The Scripture says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter” (Proverbs 25:2). It is God who reveals to us the right steps to take, the right doors to walk through, and the right instructions to follow. That’s why Jesus said, “Follow Me.” To follow Jesus is to stay in step with His Word, His Spirit, and His timing. As we obey His voice, we are made into what He designed us to be. The blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1–14 remind us that fruitfulness, favor, and success are wrapped up in obedience. Every promise of harvest becomes a reality only when we follow Jesus wholeheartedly and walk in His instructions. As Israel followed the pillar of cloud and fire in the wilderness (Exodus 13:21–22; Numbers 9:15–23), so must we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit today. God’s presence must remain our guide if we are to enter the fullness of what He has prepared for us. Are you walking closely enough with Jesus to hear and follow His leading in this harvest season? Obedience is the bridge between promise and fulfillment. PRAYER: Father, thank You for this season of harvest. Teach me to follow You closely and obey every instruction You give. Help me to walk in Your Word and not rely on my own understanding. May I move in step with Your Spirit and enter the fullness of what You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
