Capitol Reef is the most overlooked National Park in the Mighty 5 of Utah. This hidden gem contains sweeping views, colorful cliffs, and much-needed solitude. The scenic drive was by far one of my favorite things to do in the park, with the many trails and viewpoints also making a lasting impression, especially Hickman Bridge and Chimney Rock. If you're lucky enough to tackle the Mighty 5 as a whole package on this epic road trip, make sure you don't sleep on the section of driving between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon! We're wrapping up this leg of the trip with Scenic Byway 12, which could be a destination all on its own.
