Oct 06 2021 new bamboo clones featuring bambusa vulgaris

Clones taken from a 2 month old culm of Bambusa Vulgaris. This is a fairly easy species to clone. I used some Clonex rooting compound I found laying around and put a little beeswax on the cut ends to keep them from drying out. I also smeared a little on the leaves. You can get a product called wilt proof (Wilt Pruf)or something like leaf shine wich is basically a wax for some house plants to make the leaves shiny.. They act as antiperspirant to keep the leaves hydrated and not get stressed.
