Free Flight Ford Floatplane on West River
7.28.2021 West River VT, USA Third flying session of the Free Flight rubber powered 40in wingspan Ford 8-ATS floatplane. 2 Loops of 3/16 TAN Super Sport rubber motor 28in long in a tight braid. 6-700 winder turns was the most put into the model in this flying session due to risk of flying off of the river flying site. Perhaps a slightly smaller cross section motor to lessen the climb rate and lengthen the cruise portion of the flight.
